"Limbo" - Letter, April 21, 2014

Hey, I am now in Limbo for the next year of my life. Why? Because I am now 20 years old!!! That's right, today is my birthday and I am no longer a teenager. Yay. Hahahahaha. Ok, but seriously, I couldn't want to spend my birthday doing anything more. I am here serving the Lord and being a witness of His Love and His Gospel. I know that I am doing what Heavenly Father wants me to do and that I am where I need to be. And I realized that I am really on the downhill slope of my mission and that there isn't enough time left. It feels like I just got here and am just getting things really figured out.

This week has been kinda slow. In fact, it's been really slow. Not much has happened. However, we did get to teach a new investigator. Her name is Bailie, and she is a young mom of two kids. She has a lot of confusion about Christianity in general, questions that she wants some answers to but has never been able to find. And we only got to meet with her once, but it seems like they are the kind of answers we teach to primary kids. Not to bag on her, but that's something I love about the Gospel. We teach the basics to our little ones, and so when they grow up, they already have those answers rooted deep in their memory and hearts. I love that. I also love when I am teaching a lesson and I remember the words to a primary hymn running through my head. I never realized how completely I was taught as a child. Now that I am here, I realize I do know a lot of the answers, and they were things I was taught as a child.

Hey, did any of you get to watch the Because of Him video? If you haven't, watch it!!!! It's soooooooooooooo...good. It's 2 minutes and 45 seconds, and in that short time frame, there is so much packed in about what the Savior did for us. And then I got to watch the Bible Videos that are specifically about Easter. You should look them up.

Damon is still doing good. He's truly one of the Elect that we have been sent to find. He is such an amazing person, and his wife is just as amazing. Stormee is still working toward baptism. I am so excited for her. We don't have a date yet, but hopefully it will be soon.

Ok, well, I am going to go. I love you all, and I hope you have a wonderful life, where ever you are. I know this Gospel is true, and that only through Faith, Repentance, Baptism by Immersion by someone holding the correct authority, and Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost by the Laying on of Hands are we able to return to our Heavenly Father. I say that in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Love, Sister Worthen
